Celebrating William Appling

We wish to thank all those who attended and participated in our celebration of William Appling on Sunday, June 21, 2009, at The Riverside Church in New York City. It was simply an amazing outpouring of love.
We thank, in particular, conductor Mark Shapiro who was able to fill in at virtually the last minute to conduct J.S. Bach's Motet “Singet dem Herrn” and Bill's arrangement of “We Shall Walk Through the Valley in Peace.” The program from the Celebration is below.
